100th Day of School Celebrations!

On Friday, February 4th, the Grade 1 and 2 students will be celebrating the 100th day of school! Students will be celebrating this day by participating in 100th day celebration activities with their classmates and playing games that encourage counting to 100.

On the 100th day of school, students are asked to dress up as they would if they were 100 years old. Some ideas might include wearing Grandma’s shoes or hat or Grandpa’s tie or farm hat. Feel free to be as creative as you like! Students are also asked to bring in a collection of 100 items. Some examples of this include attaching 100 pennies to a piece of cardboard, 100 pieces of Lego built together or 100 jelly beans in a jar. There will be prizes for the most creative ideas and the most creative way to display it. Please ensure that your son or daughter brings this to school on the morning of the 4th.
